#FOREVER SENNA • T-Shirt
Produktion: The T-shirts are produced by Swiss fashion label Neumühle. They are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton from India. The spinning, weaving, dyeing and production takes place in Portugal. The sewing thread comes from Germany. The labels come from Portugal and are recyclable and compostable. Design: The ideas were developed by Sebastian Vettel in collaboration with the design studio Orel Communication from Stuttgart, Germany.
DYING
The dyeing of the #FOREVER SENNA T-shirts is carried out in accordance with GOTS requirements. These methods aim to minimise water, energy and chemical consumption while ensuring employee safety and environmental protection. GOTS-certified dyes are subject to strict guidelines to ensure the sustainability of the fabric and compliance with ecological standards.
PRINTING PROCESS
The #FOREVER SENNA T-shirts are printed using screen printing. In this process, a squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the tiny holes with colour, which is then transferred to the T-shirt. Only one colour is printed at a time, so multiple screens were used to produce the multi-coloured graphics. This production is GOTS-certified – environmentally friendly water-based inks are used to print the fabric, which meet strict ecological and toxicological criteria. These inks are free from harmful chemicals such as heavy metals and formaldehyde. During printing, attention is paid to water conservation, energy efficiency and waste avoidance. Safe working conditions for employees are guaranteed at all times during the process.
#FOREVER SENNA • BALACLAVA
Production: The Balaclavas are produced by Swiss fashion label Neumühle. They are made from 100% extra-fine merino wool (RWS) from New Zealand and Argentina (mulesing-free). The spinning and dyeing takes place in Italy. The knitting takes place in Germany. The sewing thread also comes from Germany. The labels come from Portugal and are recyclable and compostable. Design: The ideas were developed by Sebastian Vettel in collaboration with Neumühle.
